Defective Products: Most of our products include a one-year parts and labor warranty. A-Class and B-Class Units carry the manufacturer warranty, while C-Class Units include K & A Appliance’s local in-house warranty. See your product literature or speak with one of our product experts for additional details. If your product is defective upon arrival, notify a product expert of the problem within 48 hours of receiving goods. If you notice the defect after 48 hours of receiving goods, please contact the product’s manufacturer directly if the unit includes a Manufacturer Warranty (for A-Class & B-Class units), or K & A Appliance Inc directly if the unit carries a K & A Warranty (for C-Class units).
All Warranties (A-Class/B-Class/C-Class): Any attempt to fix/repair an appliance VOIDS THE WARRANTY, unless performed by a technician certified by the warranty provider. WARRANTIES only cover mechanical failure, and not external affects, such as exposure to elements of nature, abuse, infestation, etc... If the appliance is used for commercial purposes the warranty will AUTOMATICALLY BE VOIDED. NOTE: Most manufacturers require one service call to diagnose the problem.
For the Manufacturer Warranty (A-Class/B-Class): The buyer is responsible for registering the product with the manufacturer. Contact information for the manufacturer is included in the product literature.
For K & A Appliance Inc. Warranty (C-Class): The K & A Appliance Inc. warranty is automatically registered with K & A Appliance when purchased from K & A Appliance Inc. K & A Appliance only sends techs for LOCAL warranty service, within Lancaster County, PA. Appliances located outside the local service area will NEED TO BE BROUGHT TO THE GREENFIELD COMPLEX for K & A Appliance Inc. Warranty DIAGNOSIS/REPAIR.
Damaged Products: All of our shipments are 100% insured. Product(s) damaged during shipping are eligible for exchange at no charge to you. Product(s) will be delivered by one of our delivery teams for all local deliveries; feel free to call us for our local delivery area. Upon delivery, inspect your product for damage. Scratch & dent appliances are NEW, BUT SCRATCH AND DENT, and so it MAY HAVE COSMETIC BLEMISHES. The buyer is responsible for reviewing the unit before ordering/purchasing, and to recognize the appearance of each in their entirety. Freight delivery policy varies. B Class Vs. C Class: Our Scratch & Dent appliances, which fall into B Class or C class, are marked so that you know the difference! B class appliances have no, or minimal cosmetic damage on the face of the appliance with blemishes that are likely hidden/minimized from view. C class appliances are more likely to have cosmetic blemishes on the face of the appliance, and are great for spaces in your home that no one sees. All pictures shown in our online catalogue are stock images provided by the manufacturer. Actual product may vary due to cosmetic blemishes. Seeing the product in person before you buy it is very important. Visit either of our showrooms currently carrying the model(s) you are interested in today.
The Product Does Not Meet Your Needs: Once your purchase or special order has been delivered or picked up, K & A Appliance does not offer exchanges, returns or refunds of any kind and the sale is considered final. Shipping and handling charges from our warehouse are non-refundable.
Other Fees/Charges/Deposits: Customers are responsible for shipping charges incurred when purchasing a product. A FEE OF $50 will be assessed for any CHECK RETURNED INSUFFICIENT. Appliances may be held for a maximum of 30 DAYS with a 25% minimum deposit, after 30 days the item(s) will be made available for sale and a 10% restocking fee will be assessed (the fee is based on the sale price of the unit(s) that were held). Orders canceled after 2 business days (from date of invoice) will incur a 10% restocking fee, based on the price of the appliance(s) canceled.
The customer agrees to the terms and conditions published above when they place a completed order with our company. In addition, the customer authorizes their credit card company to abide by these terms. We reserve the right to cancel orders at any time.

Shipping Policy / Delivery Policy
Please be assured that your items will ship out as soon as possible from the date of purchase. If a special order is placed, please anticipate a longer delivery time. You will be notified once the item has been received in our warehouse. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes. If you are trying to estimate when an order will be delivered, please note the following: Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing. Delivery must be made to an indoor location, with an adult available to sign as having received the order.
Shipping / Handling Costs & Additional Post Sale Purchases
Costs for shipping and handling will be determined at the time of purchase or shipment. Not all Refrigerators come with a water filter. Water hoses for washers, power cord and vent hose for dryers, power cord and flex line for ranges are not included in purchase price. Parts may be available for purchase during delivery/installation if found to be needed. Additional delivery for any reason may be charged, unless fault of our own.
Out-of-state orders will be charged the current sales tax. In-state orders will be charged 6% sales tax.
